Criteria for Receiving the Badge

E-sellers that are registered legal entities and meet the basic legal requirements are eligible to receive the badge, which will be sent with instructions for displaying it on their online store.

Who Can Earn the Badge?

Any e-seller in North Macedonia who independently applies, completes the required payment, and successfully passes MECA’s verification checks for compliance with regulations and e-commerce obligations can acquire the Verified E-Seller Badge.

How to become a verified e-seller?

To receive the Verified E-Seller Badge, each e-seller must complete a brief online application providing information about their e-commerce business.

File an application

Complete a short online application confirming whether your e-seller meets the basic legal requirements for operating in e-commerce.

Make a payment

Once the application is submitted, the fee should be paid. It can be done by payment card or invoice.

Checking the application

After the payment, MECA reviews the application according to the criteria for obtaining the Verified E-Seller Badge.

Notification

If all criteria are met, you will receive a confirmation email stating that you are a Verified E-Seller, along with instructions for displaying the badge. If any criteria are not met, you will receive an email with corrective actions to implement on your e-store to qualify for the badge.
