\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe rapid growth of e-commerce requires constant updating and learning of new tools and trends in order for businesses to seize opportunities and grow their business. In order to strengthen digital skills and increase the competitiveness of micro, small and medium enterprises, with the support of Mastercard, the Macedonian E-commerce Organization organizes educational and networking Afterwork sessions on topics that are decided according to the needs of members and current trends in e-commerce. #1 Ecommerce Afterwork: Export in e-commerce\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In December 2019, in the premises of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, we held the first session of the series \u201cE-commerce Afterwork sessions\u201d, on the topic: \u201cWith export to greater competitiveness of e-traders. What should all potential exporters in e-commerce know?\u201d At this session spoke the Assistant Director of the Customs System Sector, Zlatko Veterovski, Ophelia Bajo, Head of the Customs and Tax Procedures Unit at the Customs Administration, Marina Antova, Sales Supervisor at DHL Express Macedonia, Zino Skrijelj, General Manager Logistic and Dragi Cvetkovski, Marketing Director at Makedonska Posta AD Skopje. \"\" Part of the session were more than hundred representatives from various e-commerce companies, who export or want to export their products. The session developed a constructive discussion in which the attendees explained the problems they face: expensive administrative and customs procedures, slow delivery of products at relatively high costs, lack of tracking number at some post offices and non-responsiveness at some post offices.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

#2 Ecommerce Afterwork: Implementing Online Payment\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In February 2020, the second session of the series \u201cE-commerce Afterwork Sessions\u201d was held at the premises of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development, on the topic: \u201cImplementation and Challenges of Online Payment\u201d, organized by the Macedonian E-commerce Association. The session was intended for all existing and potential e-commerce companies, and was organized with the support of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development. The purpose of this session was to see all the online payment opportunities offered by banks, as well as their current news in the field of e-commerce.<\/p>\n\n\"\"\n\n\nThe session explained, among other things, the full process of online payment, including ways to increase the security and reliability of online payment, in order to protect both e-shoppers and e-merchants.\n\nMore than 100 participants attended and followed all the information presented by the speakers. Speakers at the panel discussion were Tina Petkoska from Halkbank AD Skopje, Veljan Popovski from NLB Banka AD Skopje, Stefan Peposki from Stopanska Banka AD Skopje, Filomena Pljakovska Asprovska from the CaSys processor and Igor Velichkovski from the National Bank of North Macedonia. In the second half of the session, Branislav Markovski from the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development presented the active call \u201cStartup 2\u201d intended for co-financed grants for newly established companies \u201cstart-ups\u201d and \u201cspin-offs\u201d.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

#3 Ecommerce Afterwork: GDPR in e-commerce\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFor a better understanding of the new regulation for personal data protection \u2013 GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), providing timely professional training and raising the quality of implementation of the Law on Personal Data Protection by e-traders, the Macedonian E-commerce Association organized the third Afterwork session in July 2021, on the topic: \u201cLet\u2019s talk about GDPR in e-commerce\u201d.\n\n\"\"\n\nDuring the event, Igor Kuzevski, who is an expert in the field of personal data protection, held a lecture through which he helped the attendees to get acquainted with GDPR, as well as the changes in the regulation on personal data protection and the steps to be taken by aspect of implementation. The informative lecture was followed by an interactive discussion between the attendees and the lecturer which additionally contributed to informing the members of the Macedonian E-commerce Association about the importance of GDPR and the protection of personal data in general.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

#4 Ecommerce Afterwork: 5 Marketing Resolutions for 2022\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn order to celebrate the arrival of the new year, as well as all the hard work that has been done over the past year, all in order to emphasize the potential of e-commerce in the country through the implementation of projects and initiatives that meet this rapidly growing industry, in December, 2021 was held the fourth, New Year\u2019s Afterwork session.\n\n\"\"\n\nDarjan Radenkovic, Director of Business Development at Vidi Vaka, gave a presentation on \u201cTop 5 Marketing Resolutions for 2022\u201d, talking about the marketing resolutions that he considers most important for businesses to cover and implement in order to have a successful 2022.\n\nAfter the end of the interactive session with Darjan, together with our members, associates, friends and partners without whom the Macedonian e-commerce would not be what it is, we did a pre-new year\u2019s toast and wished each other countless new successes in the new 2022.\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
